Exodus 3: 7-10; 8:1.
God was not joking with this statement, that is why the statement was repeated 7 times in the book of Exodus. God even added2 times that if you will not let them go, Exodus 8:21; 10:4. And Exodus 5:1; 7:16; 8:1; 8:20; 9:1; 9:13; 10:3.
There are a lots to learn from this statement. E.g
>My people do not belong to this place, it is condition that make crayfish bend.
>Their time of slavery has expired.
>They deserve freedom.
>Their time of punishment has ended.
>They have cried to me for help. etc
The Lord said I have seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and I have heard their cry because of their taskmasters.
Egypt is a land of captivity for Israelites. No matter how rich you are in a strange land, it will be hard before they can make you their king. Bible says Jesus has made us kings and priests. How can you be a king when you are in captivity land. You need to go out of slavery land. You a relocation to your domain.
Watch out for part 2…
It is a pity that we permitted certain situations to prevail over us due to the steps we took towards such matter. In the above Bible passage, the children of Israel were confronted with a serious battle but they didn't move an inch until they inquired from God. You know what that means. Seek God's face on that situation before you take step.
In verse 2, God said Judah shall go up. Why Judah? He was not the first born. He was not the most skillful person among Jacob children. Why him then? You have to know the meaning of Judah first. Judah means "praise". That means, in this matter praise ME first. Let your praise go up to Me. Let ME see that you are not elevating that challenges above ME. Eph 5:20 also support this by saying in all things, give thanks.
You cannot fight alone.
Judah went with Simeon. Get a partner to fight the battle of your life. Add prayers and fasting. Acquire all you need. Knowledge, skills, be educated etc.
Who are we to associate …
Somebody once said if you think knowledge is expensive, try ignorance. The amount of knowledge you acquire and apply will determine the level you attain in life. No wonder Jesus said in John 8:32 "And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. It is the truth you know that will work for you.
Hosea 4:6 stated it clearly that ignorance is a destroyer. Deliver yourself from it. And it shall be well with you.
Lastly, the truth is Jesus is the Lord. John 8:36. When He steps into yourlife, your freedom is total.
God bless you all.
