Doors Of Multiple Blessings

Job 42:10-12
Job 42:10
"And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before."
Job 42:11
"Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold."
Job 42:12
"So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

Blessing according to dictionary is a kind of divine or supernatural aid or reward. Blessing is the opposite of curse. If you have a better understanding of curse, you will understand blessing very well.
There are different categories of blessings.

2Kings 7:3-6

The story of these four lepers will never be outdated. As a matter of fact there are countless lessons to derive from their actions.

Today, i will just highlight few out of what we can learn from them.
>They were broke i.e they were in need. Many of us today, once we are broke we quickly lost sense of reasoning. We lost control. We can do anything to get our way out.
>They got 3 options at the same time and they were to choose one.
>They made use of what they have at present. They reasoned. Please, use your brain. God gives you that brain for your benefits verse 4. No one has ever maximize the use of his/her brain.
>In the same verse 4, they chose now or never. They apply takuology.
>They took step in verse 5. Many people design good ideas but never take step. As a result, they never achieve it. Procrastination is the enemy of progress.
>Little did they know that they were working in God's plan. Verse 5. Prophecy had gone out before this time. Before…

Let My People Go Part 5

Exodus 3:7-10;
We have been looking into this interesting topics for the past few days. And we have discussed several few things from it. Today, we will continue in the same topic which is part 5. May you richly be blessed in Jesus name. In part 2, i listed some points which i have explained part of it. I will write on the last one tonight.

Why must they go out of that land?
David made a statement in 1Samuel 17:29b Is there not a cause? Meaning that there is a reason for everything. Why must they go?
> Because God said so Exodus 3:7
> Because there time had expired. Gen 15 God said they are to spend 400 years and they had spent 430
> Because their time of deliverance has come
> Because there is nothing that has a beginning without an end. Surely, there is an end.

Let my people go was a statement that proceeded out of God after Israelites played their role. So, you have a role to play if you will get out bondage, slavery, stagnation etc.
What did they do?
God said "I h…

Let My People Go Part 4

Exodus 3:7-10
We have discussed few things on this topic. And we intend to continue today by discussing two other points from the once enumirated in part 2. May the Lord open our eyes of understanding in Jesus name.

* Where were God's people?
That's to say, where were the children of Israel at that time.
The Israelites were in Egypt at that time.
Then what does Egypt signify in their life?
The land of Egypt to Israelites signifies;
1, a land of slavery
2, a territory of enemy.
3, a land of weeping. Exo 3:7
4, it is a land to labour for others to eat. Exo 1:11.
5, it is a land of affliction. Exo 3:17
The same God who delivered them is still the same God we are serving. He can deliver us too.

* Why were they in that place?
The story is long but i will go straight to the point.
Israelites were in Egypt as a payment of their grandfather's sin (Abraham). Though, it was a the same sin that some of thought it is minor sin. In fact, many of us commit it freely without pondering on…

Let My People Go Part 3

Exodus 3:7-10;
I bless the Almighty God for this great privilege. And i believe you have been blessed by the previous messages.
We shall continue from part 2 of this topic where we were told that there are few points to treat. We had considered no 1. So, today we shall be looking into 2 other more points.

* To whom was the statement?
Of course, every Bible scholar knows that the statement was directed to Pharao and his people. Many things can represent Pharao in an individual life.
He can be high priest on evil altar.
He can be the head of taskmasters.
He can be giant in a family or in a city. Bible tells us about Goliat. How he intimidated Israelites.
It can be power of stagnation.
Pharao can be human or objects. but which ever that is confronting you, God can deliver from all of them.

* Who were His people in this statement?
Children of Israel were His people here. Exodus 4:22-23 stated it clearly 'Israel is my first son' verse 23 says let my son go..........
Glory be to God…

Let My People Go. Part 1.

Exodus 3: 7-10; 8:1.
God was not joking with this statement, that is why the statement was repeated 7 times in the book of Exodus. God even added2 times that if you will not let them go, Exodus 8:21; 10:4. And Exodus 5:1; 7:16; 8:1; 8:20; 9:1; 9:13; 10:3.

There are a lots to learn from this statement. E.g
>My people do not belong to this place, it is condition that make crayfish bend.
>Their time of slavery has expired.
>They deserve freedom.
>Their time of punishment has ended.
>They have cried to me for help. etc
The Lord said I have seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and I have heard their cry because of their taskmasters.

Egypt is a land of captivity for Israelites. No matter how rich you are in a strange land, it will be hard before they can make you their king. Bible says Jesus has made us kings and priests. How can you be a king when you are in captivity land. You need to go out of slavery land. You a relocation to your domain.
Watch out for part 2…

Act 3:1-10
There are two important words in the above topic.
1, Divine: This word has to do with something from above and Bible says in Jam 1:17 "that everything that comes from above is good and perfect.
2, Breakthrough: Dic meaning; overcoming some obstacles.
It is to penetrate through to the other side.
If you look at the above meanings, you will discover that it is not an easy task to get the honey from the rock.
Look at the man in our Bible reading that was living the shadow of his life. This is to tell you that it is not about location. Your mind set matters a lot.
Let's check our reasoning. Don't reason like grass supper. The man was at the beautiful gate but nothing was beautiful in his life.
One good part of the matter is that God can give above our thinking Eph 3:20.
The man in our text was looking forward to receive arms from Peter but he got what can give him arms. Can you imagine a beger suddenly became a source of income to the entire family.
What is our e…

Deliverance From Unknow Curses

Act 3:1-2;
There is what we call generational curses. If you check the following Bible passages 2Samuel 3:28-29; 2Kings 5:27; 1Kings 11:1-3. You will discover that all the curses rained upon these people were extended to their children and children children.
In our text, Bible says the man was lame from his mother's womb. Meaning that he couldn't explain the cause of his condition. He was suffering from unknown curse. Who knows? may be he is from Joab family. The man in John 9:1-2 experienced the same problem. He was born blind but God was glorified in his life. God will be glorified in your life in Jesus name.

Signs to know that you are under curse.
1) When there is a reproach that you can not tell or explain how it started Act 3:1-2.
2) When you discover that you are passing through what some people are suffering from in your family. IKings 11:1-3.
3) When there is occurence of unpleasant situation. IChron 4:9
4) When you know that your efforts is above your income. Haggai1…

Benefits Of Unanswered Prayer.

Everybody wants his prayers to be answered. In fact, many people want it instantly. Let me ask you, how do you feel when your prayers are not answered. Little do we know that all things work together for them that love God.
Do you know that there are benefits in unanswered prayers. It is not all prayers that are not answered are evil, some are beneficiary. Can you imagine if God had answered Jesus' prayer that day, what would have been our hope?

1) It gives long life. It can be away of giving you long life. Many people are asking for death warrant indirectly. The Omniscience God refused to give them because He didn't want them to die at that time.
2) It brings victory Revelation 12:11. The blood of Jesus shed on the cross made us to overcome satan.
3) It puts an end to calamity John 19:30 confirms it that it is finished.
4) It gives us riches. 2 Cor 8:9. He because poor so that we might be rich.
5) It gives us healing 1Peter 2::24. The stripe was made…

It Is My Turn To Shine

Isaiah 60:1-4; 15-16.
It is not a hard thing for God to make all the people in the world encounter a turning point at the same time. Because the book of Jer 32:27 asked a question that nobody can answer till now. Is there anything too hard for ME (God)?. But Bible also says "to everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven".
It means there is time-table for everything. Though, He has time-table yet He does as it pleases HIM. He can reverse the irreversible. He decides what to be the final answer in any situation.
What does it mean to say it is my turn?
1) It means my time to have a new beginning has finally come. Isaiah 43:19. I will do a new thing; Now it shall spring forth. It is a matter of NOW
2) It means my time to deliver my baby has come. Elizabeth full time came that she should deliver a baby. Luke 1:57. Your own time has come in Jesus name.
3) It means my time of favour has come. Psalm 102:3. The time to favour Zion has come.
